Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to exercise?
While exercise has many benefits, when it comes to weight loss and health, nothing is more important than what you put in your mouth. Get the food part right, and you'll probably get to your ideal weight and stay there. You'll also be healthier and will likely see vast improvements in the chronic diseases you've been dealing with.
Typically, the unhealthy food people eat make them feel so lousy they don't want to exercise. However, once they start eating better and dropping the extra pounds, they often have so much more energy and feel so much more alive that they want to be more active.
If that's you, we'll help you find activities you love and be consistent, but we won't insist you run or join a gym. That's because we're all about making it fun. You can do it when you make it fun.
What will we eat?
More plants. The evidence is overwhelming that eating more whole, plant foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, herbs, and spices results in more weight loss, better health, and longer life expectancy than any other way of eating. It's also easier and more enjoyable than dieting.
Instead of restricting portions, you'll eat unlimited amounts of the foods your body craves. We'll teach you how to not just like - but actually prefer - healthy, whole plant foods.
Do I have to cook to do the program?
No, but most people will at least need to make basic meals. It is possible to be successful, though, if you have someone to cook for you; you use a whole food, plant-based meal delivery service; or you eat all raw foods, which usually requires soaking and sprouting whole grains and legumes.

You can do it when you make it fun!

What if my body is different and eating more plants doesn't work for me?
We have never met a person who doesn't get healthier and feel better by eating more unprocessed plants. Ever. It's not as if some people get healthier eating real food while others need junk food.
However, not everyone who begins eating more plants feels better immediately. For some, it takes a few days or weeks for their bodies to go through junk food withdrawals, allow their taste buds to change, and give their intestines time to adjust.
We teach you how to deal with such challenges in the program. Once the adjustment period is gone, you'll not just be healthier. You'll feel better too.
Why do we have to apply to do the program?
The Make It Fun program is not for people who only want to dip their toe in the water. It's for those willing to jump in. The water may feel cold - but only for a moment.
After that, expect to see amazing things happen. You lose weight without trying, no longer crave junk food, and in many cases, your body heals itself.
We want to make sure you get to that part. For that reason, we only work with people who are serious about making a permanent lifestyle change.
Why can't I do the program more than once?
When you know you've got just one chance to do something, you're more likely to give it your best effort.
If you do that and follow the program, you'll improve your health and drop unwanted pounds. We want to make sure that happens.
When are the group online sessions and movie nights?
The group sessions currently take place Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 8 p.m. eastern / 5 p.m. pacific time in the United States. If you can't participate live, you may watch the recordings afterwards.
The movie nights take place on your own. We will send you a video link, and you can watch them when it's convenient for you.
Participants who skip group movie nights or group sessions - or fall too far behind - will be removed from the program. Also, this is a once and done opportunity. You can never do it again.

If it's really possible to reverse chronic disease through nutrition, why haven't I heard this before?
First, doctors don't usually have enough time to explain the importance of good nutrition to patients, and even when they do, most most patients ignore their advice anyway.
Second, some doctors don't know. They are trained extensively in pharmacology, the science of drugs. Unfortunately, though, most medical schools don't offer a single course in nutrition.
Third, the food and drug industries are among the wealthiest and most powerful in the world. They influence government nutrition guidelines, the media, and us as they spend billions on advertising and fund deceptive studies designed to get the results they want and confuse the public.
So if you're wondering if this program will really help with your chronic conditions, why not take the risk-free option of paying what it's worth to you? Then do the program with an open mind. Your results will speak for themselves. If you don't beat those chronic diseases or lose weight, you won't owe us a penny. But if you do, you'll get your health and life back.

Are chronic diseases always preventable and reversible through diet?
No. But clinical studies consistently suggest they are about 80 percent of the time.
What if I can't eat gluten or have food allergies?
No problem. Most whole plant foods don't contain gluten, so you will still have plenty of tasty options. The same goes for those with food allergies.
Are there other benefits to eating this way aside from losing weight and preventing and reversing chronic disease?
Yes. Those who make the switch to eating more plants often find they have more energy; sleep better at night; aren't as tired during the day; no longer feel bloated, sleepy, or stuffed after meals; are more satisfied after eating; are no longer constipated; have clearer skin; get fewer or no more colds, allergies, or bouts of flu; have fewer aches and pains; women report more regular and less painful menstrual cycles; men reverse erectile disfunction, which is often the first sign of heart disease and a frequent precursor to a heart attack; have better stamina for long days at work, home, or sports; recover faster from injury or exercise; and spend less on groceries.

Can I really pay whatever it's worth to me?
Yes. We're experimenting with this for people who start in 2026. That makes it risk free for you and allows us to help more people.
